Aephix has been accepted into AltaLab, the accelerator run by AltaIR Capital, and joins the Fall 2026 cohort starting Sep 7.

AltaIR Capital is an early-stage venture firm managing roughly $600 million across four funds. The portfolio includes ten unicorns, among them Deel and Miro. AltaLab is the firm’s hands-on program for AI startups, led by founder and managing partner Igor Ryabenkiy. The program provides mentorship, product workshops, and a path to investment.

What Aephix does

Agents pull artifacts at generate-time: packages, models, skills, MCP servers, extensions, and containers. Those artifacts arrive from different registries under different names, with nothing connecting them. Aephix Threat Research surfaces coordinated activity across those artifacts, links the pieces to a single operation, and briefs subscribers on it every week in Sleuth.

Aephix Threat Research publishes first-hand analyses of malicious artifacts found in that supply chain. Aephix Academy publishes plain-language guides to how the attacks work.

Products

Aephix Vantage is the free cross-ecosystem lookup. Anyone can check an artifact before it reaches a build, with no account required.

Sleuth is the paid intel report: Weekly Sleuth every week and Quarterly Sleuth every quarter, straight to a subscriber’s inbox. Sign up for the free newsletter to follow the research and know when subscriptions open.
